The track ring road will be the unifying element of the transport system in the region and will connect into a single unit all major roadways, radiating from the center of St. Petersburg in the direction of Helsinki, Murmansk, Moscow, Kiev and Tallinn.

The total length of the ring road — 116.75 km, taking into account the area extending along the crest of protective structures Petersburg Flood (dam) — 142.15 km.

The project involves the construction of highways bessvetofornoy road length 48.9 km, of which 55% will make trestle sites.
