At airports, the Argentine capital canceled all flights because of the ash cloud in the atmosphere. As the Secretary of Transportation of the country, it was a result of the eruption of the Chilean volcano Puyeue.
Air service will resume as soon as weather conditions improve, according to ITAR-TASS.
Volcano Puyeue altitude 2240 meters located on the Chilean side of the Andes. He woke up on 4 June and began spewing a column of smoke up to 10 kilometers. Several thousand residents of the surrounding communities then were quickly evacuated to a safe area. Since then, the volcanic ash cloud led to the cancellation of hundreds of flights in several countries in South America.
