Belarus has withdrawn a lawsuit against the Russian oil

At the meeting of the CIS Economic Court on April 20 Justice Minister Viktor Golovanov has withdrawn a lawsuit against Russia on the illegality of levying duties on petroleum products.

CIS Economic Court granted the request of the Belarusian side, and dismissed the the case, BelTA informs.

According to the minister, Belarus and Russia resolved the question of nezbiranni duties on oil products delivered to Belarus. The Russian side was pursuing the work on the ratification of the formation of a single economic space.

"The Belarusian side considers it necessary to give up the claim in court. We believe that this will affect the strengthening of the Belarusian-Russian relations, "- said the Minister.

Deputy Minister of Justice of Russia Yuri Lyubimov noted that the Russian side does not object to a review of this claim. By Lyubimov, Belarus and Russia in Lately made a number of joint efforts regarding the conciliation procedure this issue.
