The prosecutor's office sent to the Minsk City Court criminal cases against ex-presidential candidate Andrei Sannikov, Vladimir and Vitaly Rymashevsky Neklyaeva.
"In Minsk City to determine the territorial jurisdiction of the case directed against ex-presidential candidates Sannikov, Neklyayev and Rymashevsky"- Said the agency" Interfax-West "On Friday, a senior assistant prosecutor of Minsk Sergei Balashov.
The representative of the prosecutor's office informed that in respect of the ex-candidate A. Sannikov, the court directed the criminal case under part 1 of article. 293 of the Criminal Code (organization of mass disorders). Responsibility for the offense provides for imprisonment for a term of 5 to 15 years.
S. Balashov also clarified that the same criminal case with A. Sannikov passes Vasiljevic, IL, Hnedchyk OA, Mirzayanav FR, V. Eremenko, which is also charged under Part 2 of Art. 293 of the Criminal Code (participation in mass disorders).
Senior Assistant Attorney reported that the Minsk City to determine the territorial jurisdiction of the case is directed against the former candidates and V.Neklyaeva Rymasheuski charged under Part 1 of Art. 342 of the Criminal Code (organization of group activities that breach public order or active participation in them). The maximum penalty for this article provides for imprisonment up to 3 years. Together with ex-candidate in the criminal case are campaign manager Neklyaev Andrew Dmitryin, activists Staff Alexander Fyaduta and Sergei Wozniak, and registered in the Czech activist organization "Young Front" Anastasia Palazhanka.
The representative of the Minsk prosecutor's office also said that the court directed the criminal case against Vinogradov PY, Drozd DM, Kirkevich AR, Protasenya AM, VM Homichenko., who are charged under Part 2 of Art. 293 of the Criminal Code (participation in mass disorders). Moreover, Vinogradov charged under Art. 370 of the Criminal Code (insult of state symbols). Participation in riot is punishable by imprisonment for a term of 3 to 8 years, the maximum penalty for a mockery of the state symbols provides for the restriction of freedom for up to 1 year.
