— Report on the global changes of the geological environment published in the first issue of the international scientific journal "Problems of Global Changes of the Geological Environment", in 2010. Volume of about 200 pages of the report. The singularity of the report is related primarily to its interdistsiplinaronostyu. First global environmental changes are analyzed in the aggregate — in all layers of the Earth and in outer space around our planet. The fact is that due to the differentiation of scientific disciplines, many scientists are studying these processes independently, within a particular science: climate scientists and meteorologists examine atmospheric processes, marine scientists and hydrogeologists working on water environment, geology, mainly the upper part of the Earth's crust, Geophysics — Depth structure, physical processes in different layers of the Earth, including the ionosphere. In recent years he has been a science that investigates the cosmic climate or solar-terrestrial relations.

The first report of the International Committee Geochange analyzed changes in the statistical and energy characteristics of various types of natural disasters: earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, tsunamis, floods, storms, hurricanes, tornadoes, forest fires, as well as some important geophysical parameters. The results of these studies can be called shocking. It became apparent that global climate change is occurring under the same laws as the processes in the Earth's crust and the deeper layers of the Earth.

— You want to say that humanity is not guilty of global warming?

— This is indicated by the results of studies cited in the report. I do not know that we rejoice or mourn, but the evidence suggests that the human factor in global climate change is not critical. The report provides graphs showing changes in the number of large earthquakes and volcanic eruptions, tsunamis and various weather events and global change parameters such as the drift velocity of the magnetic poles, solar activity, changes in the so-called coefficient J2, reflecting the change in the ratio of the equatorial radius of the Earth and the pole. And what do we see? All of these parameters, as if on cue, start to grow at the same time, roughly, since 1998, and this growth is exponentially!

In the official reports of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), the UN clearly stated that the increase in the number and energy of extreme weather events due to global warming, which is affected by intake of CO2 and other greenhouse gas emissions from fossil fuel combustion by mankind. Based on that "Kyoto Protocol", signed by most countries in 1997. Between what one explain that the same law increasing the number and energy of earthquakes, volcanoes, tsunamis, the drift velocity of the magnetic north pole and the other characteristics of the Earth? It is unlikely that serious scientists would think to link the increase in global seismic and volcanic activity with human activity and the increase of CO2 in the atmosphere.

On the other hand, how do you explain a significant cyclical global temperature over the past 150 years, with the overall growth? Over the years, there have been periods substantial decline in global temperature over the planet, but burning more fossil fuels by mankind — the main supplier of CO2 in the atmosphere continue to rise naturally, as reflected in the report. This is clearly a discrepancy with the accepted concept of global warming.

Geomagnetic field forms the outermost shell of the Earth — the magnetosphere, which is a screen from entering the atmosphere and Earth's surface hard solar and cosmic radiation. Thanks to this "umbrella" preserved biological life on our planet. So — at the poles of the magnetosphere are gaps — so-called "cusps". They penetrate a huge amount of space matter and energy. When the magnetic poles are moving, these gaps are moved, therefore, the flow of solar and cosmic radiation is also moved to another part of the world.

Magnetosphere plays a huge role in the formation of cyclones and anticyclones in the atmosphere and its shift, lead to significant climate change. However, this factor is not taken into account by the UN IPCC. The offset of the magnetosphere will cause that in some places will be much warmer, while others will feel significantly colder. What does that mean? Global changes in the flora and fauna will change the appearance of the planet. Agricultural countries face enormous challenges in reducing severe crop, which can lead not only to the economic crisis, but also to problems with food of plant origin.

Let me give you another example. The IPCC UN says that the growing number of tornadoes, storms and hurricanes blame global warming. Meanwhile, the report Geochange shown that such dependence or missing, or has reversed, that is, as the temperature increases, the number of tropical storms decreases as temperature decreases — on the contrary increases.

— How, then, to link all the observed climate change to other natural disasters?

— In one of the last chapters of the report Geochange shows a comparison of the two graphs: the changes of the Earth's volcanic eruptions and growth temperature on the planet. It's hard not to notice the extremely high similarity of the two graphs with some displacement in time. First is an increase in the number of volcanic eruptions, and then after about 4-D, the global temperature rises. That's what it is connected.

Meanwhile, the flow of greenhouse gas geological origin is not only a fixed volcanic eruptions. They only increase the external indicators of geodynamic activity of the Earth. At the same time, in the mid-ocean ridges extending out of the center of the world ocean, there is a set of small, non-fixed eruptions, resulting in strengthening the process of tectonic plates moving apart, a process called spreading. From the depths of the mantle in the ocean starts to arrive ten times more gas than usual. And then, out of the ocean, they enter the atmosphere. The same thing is happening in the field of deep faults on continents. It is well known that before strong earthquakes and after them, in the areas of deep faults recorded significant anomalies increased content of deep gas — concentration increases several times.

Here you have a source of greenhouse gases, which penetrate into the atmosphere during periods of increased geodynamic activity of the Earth.

— The fact is that, approximately, from the late 90's growth statistics and energy performance of many natural disasters on our planet has accelerated sharply. For example, over the last 20 years the rate of drift of the magnetic north pole has increased more than 500% for the first time, for the whole hundred years of observations, and this rate is almost invariably persists to this day. It is not just the acceleration of movement of the needle in the compass. The fact that the geomagnetic field of the Earth is shaped by complex energy processes in its inner and outer core. Therefore, if the magnetic poles began to move up to five times faster, in power at the kernel level, and there was a horse race, this energy is spilled in the late 90's. But it has not yet reached the lithosphere, however, its first signs are already evident in the form of increased seismic and volcanic activity of the Earth.

On the other hand, about the same period, namely, in 1998, began a sharp increase in the number of many natural disasters — earthquakes, volcanoes, tsunamis, hurricanes, tornadoes, etc. Let me give some concrete examples:

· Over the past 10 years the number of deaths during strong earthquakes in the world increased by 8.6 times compared with the average figures for the decade (for the previous 50 years);
· In the last 10 years from the catastrophic earthquake killed 42% more people than the previous 50 years;
· Over the last five years, the economic damage from flooding in the United States exceeded the total economic loss in the previous 20 years;
· Over the past 110 years, 31.5% died during strong earthquakes have in the last decade;
· The earthquake and tsunami in Indonesia on December 26, 2004 claimed the lives of 230,000 people, has led to a shift of Earth's axis and changes in length of the day;
· The earthquake in Haiti on 12 January 2010 resulted in the deaths of 222,570 people;
· In the first five months of 2010, the number of volcanic eruptions of the world exceeded the annual average rate of volcanic eruptions over the past 110 years;
· Over the last decade (1999-2009 gg.) Tsunami killed ten times more people than in the past 100 years;
· From 1983 to 2003, the rate of drift of the magnetic north pole has increased by 500%, while as in the previous years, it has ranged from 40-50% relative to the background;
· In 1998, there was a sudden change in the shape of the Earth — she cringed at the poles and the equator extended (as NASA)

The list could go on, but I think that these facts are enough to understand the seriousness of the situation.

— The report also contains a section devoted to forecast natural disasters in the coming years. What can we expect from these forecasts?

— I would like to reassure all, but more important to know the truth in order to be prepared in advance for the events. The annex to the report provides forecasts for the seismic and volcanic activity, and tsunamis. All these processes reflect the endogenous activity of the Earth. Tsunamis are known to directly relate mainly to strong earthquakes and underwater volcanoes. So, on the basis of these projections, the coming years will be a maximum of two forms of cataclysms — the first in 2011 and more significantly in 2013. In 2012, expect some relief.

Only in 2016, seismic and volcanic activity will significantly decrease, but at the same time the global temperature will rise significantly. Consequently, in 2016 starts increased melting glaciers and rising sea levels, which will cause flooding of large areas of land and cause unprecedented flooding in coastal countries. On the other hand, the increase in temperature will lead to an increase in the number of forest fires in the summer.

These forecasts are based on an analysis of the logical manifestation of these processes from previous years and the methods of their preparation is described in detail in the report. Meanwhile, the section on projections not included in the main content of the report and is given in an appendix, as it is general in nature.

— What is the purpose of your report and international communiqué Geochange?

— Expected activity of natural disasters can have very serious negative consequences for the stable development of civilization and lead to unprecedented, in the history of humanity, death and destruction. Economic implications for countries prone to natural disasters, can be disastrous.

The initiative group of scientists who signed the communiqué offers:

  • Adopt the UN Framework Convention on Global Environmental Change.
  • Expand the functions and composition of the "Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change — IPCC» and be renamed the "Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change Environment (IPEC — Intergovernmental Panel on Environmental Change». Addition to include in IPEC: volcanologists, seismologists, geophysicists, geologists, experts on space climate, specialists in international law.
  • Instruct IPEC: Develop International Programme on the study and prediction of global environmental change.
  • Develop international legal norms and mechanisms for the effective management and coordination of national governments and international humanitarian organizations, in case of forecasts of natural disasters.
  • Create the UN International Center of Forecasting and Monitoring of natural cataclysms (International Centre for the Forecasting and Monitoring of Natural Cataclysms — IC FMNC).
  • Major changes to the basic provisions of the "Kyoto Protocol" to accommodate new scientific facts and evidence, the big role of the natural factor in global climate change.

Need to bring together researchers, international organizations and governments of various countries under the auspices of the UN to take effective measures to counter natural disasters and to minimize casualties and damage to their humanity.
