Federal State Unitary Enterprise "State Scientific Center Krylovskiy" and Nordic Yards reported to the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin and German Chancellor Angela Merkel, the concept of cooperation between the companies in the framework of participation in the international industrial exhibition Hannover Messe-2013. Nordic Yards and Krylov State Research Center signed the first contracts for the joint implementation of shipbuilding projects.
In the Monday, April 8, 2013 Federal State Unitary Enterprise "State Scientific Center Krylovskiy", one of the world leaders in the field of research for marine industry and the company Nordic Yards, one of the world leaders in the field of specialized shipbuilding, signed an agreement on scientific and technical cooperation, as well as a number of contracts for specific projects, involving the joint work of the design and construction of complex, high-tech ships and designs to customers in Russia and in Europe.
The signing ceremony took place during the Business Summit "Germany and Russia: open markets for trade and investment" in the world's largest industrial fair in Hanover, in the presence of the Minister of Industry and Trade Minister Denis Manturova and Minister of Economics and Technology of Germany, Philipp Rösler.
Their signatures on the documents supplied General Director of FSUE "Krylovskiy State Scientific Center" Andrew Dutov and president of Nordic Yards Vitaly Yusuf.
The end-customer projects by leading international and Russian companies: Alstom, «Sakhalin Energy", "Yamal LNG". As well as the Russian state structures: Rosmorrechflot, the Defense Ministry. For companies Alstom and Rosmorrechflot already working on preparation of project documentation.
The implementation of the contracts will take place in the framework of the Arctic Centre, created on the basis of Federal State Unitary Enterprise "State Scientific Center Krylovskiy" and Nordic Yards.
The contracts provide for joint work in the framework of implementation of the following projects:
- Construction of an offshore transformer platform DolWin gamma for a wind farm in the North Sea in Germany (the contract to build the world's largest platform Nordic Yards and international energy company Alstom signed in February 2013).
Signed contracts also secure agreement of the parties to jointly participate in the following projects:
- Design and construction of the ship-cable layer (customer Defense Ministry);
- Design and construction of icebreaking supply vessel and salvage vessel (for the end customer of the company "Sakhalin Energy");
- Design and construction of the port icebreaker icebreaker tugs, ice-class tugs easy for fleet support port operations of "Yamal LNG";
- The development of technical proposals for a jack-up drilling ice-resistant platform for year-round drilling production wells on the shelf (for the end customer of OAO "Gazprom").
Work on their implementation will begin in April 2013.
