Rabbit in the Kostroma region

The company "Russian rabbit" implementing an investment project in the Kostroma region to establish a rabbit breeding company, has won the Grand Prix at the XXI International exhibition of food and beverage «World food 2012".

 

The highest award of the International Tasting Competition "Product of the Year 2012" in the category of meat products "Russian Rabbit" appropriated Central taste panel of the Ministry of Agriculture. Commission on the high quality of the products and the professionalism of the staff.

For the competition featured more than 600 samples of products from 200 companies.
Recall that the investment project is OOO "Russian Rabbit" secured the support of regional governments. At the end of July at the working meeting Kostroma Region Governor Sergei Sitnikov with company representatives discussed gasification.

As noted by the meeting director of agriculture of the Kostroma region, Vladimir Chernov, the administration of the region expressed a strong interest in the development of the project and is ready to assist in resolving the issue of gasification with "Gazprom" in the framework of its competence.

In addition, the Department of Agribusiness Project will provide institutional support to the regional program "Development of the Rabbit Kostroma region" and the company will support the initiative for the formation of the federal program "Development of the Rabbit on an industrial basis." 
The implementation of the project "Russian Rabbit"
began in September 2010 in the village. New Kostroma region. Investor grows about 18,000 breeding rabbits, the amount of output is 115 tons of meat per year. Rabbit farm output to an annual output of 900 tons making it the largest industrial enterprise in Russia rabbit breeding.
In 2013, the project is OOO "Russian rabbit" is scheduled to declare a separate federal program to support from the federal budget (co-financing)
Currently, the company employs 30 people, with the equipment is in full operation plans for a further 70 jobs.
