MOSCOW, Sept. 17 — RIA Novosti. Carrier rocket "Soyuz-2.1a" launched on Monday night from the Baikonur Cosmodrome, led European weather satellite MetOp-B (Metop-B) into the proper orbit, told RIA Novosti the Russian Federal Space Agency.
