The largest in the Tula region FLC opened in the areas most affected by fires

The region's largest fitness center (FOC) "Hercules", the total area of which exceeds one thousand square meters, opened Wednesday in the village of Tula region Epifan, most affected by the wildfires in the summer of 2010, the press service of the regional administration.

The new complex was built by the Moscow holding "Vedis Group" under the state program of assistance to the victims of the wildfires.

"Its construction began in October 2010. The largest in the FLC includes a multi-purpose sports hall and 20 domestic premises"- Said in a statement.

Gymnasium is designed for training sessions and competitions in various sports: basketball, volleyball, indoor soccer, tennis, table tennis, judo.

The regional governor Vyacheslav Dudka, who took part in the opening ceremony of the sports complex, investors and thanked all those who took part in the works. Fife also promised that by the end of 2011, the region will be renovated and built several sports facilities.

In the Tula region for physical culture and sports work 556 gyms, 27 swimming pools.

Due to the wildfires in 2010 in Tula region burned 13 private houses, resulting in 14 families lost their homes in the three municipalities — Arsenyevsky, Mother of God and Kimovskye. As compensation for fire victims received payments from the federal budget in the amount of 100,000 rubles each, a similar amount has been allocated from the regional budget.
