4.5-magnitude earthquake occurred in western Greece

4.5 magnitude earthquake recorded in Thursday afternoon in western Greece, said the global monitoring of the U.S. Geological Survey.
According to him, the epicenter was located 25 kilometers from the city of Patras — the third largest in Greece. The earthquake was located at a relatively shallow depth — about ten kilometers.
Local TV stations report that the residents of Patras felt an earthquake, but information relating to property damage have been reported. Earthquakes of this magnitude usually do not cause damage in Greece because of anti-seismic standards in construction.
