ULAN-UDE/MOSKVA, October 14 — RIA Novosti. Earthquake of magnitude 3.5 occurred on Friday in Kabansky region of Buryatia, no casualties or damage, told RIA Novosti on duty EMERCOM Russia's Buryatia.
"The tremors registered in 16.32 (11.32 MSK), their intensity in the epicenter was 5.6 points, magnitude — 3.5", — he said.
According to a Ministry of Emergencies, the epicenter was located 218 km north-east of the village district Kabansky district. "No injuries or damage, all facilities are operating normally," — said the source.
The duty of the Geophysical Service RAS told RIA Novosti that the epicenter of the earthquake was located at coordinates 52.7 north latitude, 107.4 east longitude, which is located in the waters of Lake Baikal. Hearth tremors occur at a depth of 10 kilometers, the magnitude was 4.2.
According to the source agency, the force at the epicenter of the earthquake could reach 3.5 points. "Under normal conditions, earthquakes are not felt so strong," — she said.
