MOSCOW, Oct. 26 — RIA Novosti. Magnitude 5.2 earthquake occurred in the southern part of Chile, according to the U.S. Geological Survey website.
The epicenter of the earthquake that struck Tuesday 19.08 local time (02.08 MSK medium), located 53 km south-west of the city in 1374 and Coihaique kilometers south of the capital of Chile, Santiago.
The earthquake lies at a depth of 13.4 kilometers.
No casualties or damage were reported. No tsunami threat.
At the end of February 2010 in Chile by an earthquake of magnitude 8.8 and ensuing tsunami killed more than 500 people.
Chile is located in the zone of the Pacific "fire zone" where 85% of all recorded earthquakes in the world.
