In Afghanistan, an earthquake of magnitude 5.2

KABUL, August 18. In the north-east of Afghanistan at night, an earthquake measuring 5.2 points.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the epicenter of earthquakes that were recorded at a depth of 55.7 km, was located at 132 km south-west of the city of Faizabad, near the border with Tajikistan.

The possible casualties or damage were sooschaetsya.

Recall, May 15, an earthquake of magnitude 5.9 occurred in the north-eastern Afghanistan, 56 km from the border with Pakistan. The epicenter was located at a depth of 207 km at a distance of 76 km to the south of Faizabad and 256 km north-east of the Afghan capital — Kabul.
