Leningrad NPP investment for the I quarter of 2013 grew almost three times

Leningrad Nuclear Power Plant (branch of JSC "Concern Rosenergoatom", Leningrad region) in the I quarter of 2013, has invested in the development of production 977,400,000 rubles, or 296.7% from the same period in 2012 (329.4 million rubles).

These data are financial and economic service of the Leningrad nuclear power plant sent to the Government of Leningrad region. During 2012 the volume of investments (capital expenditures) of the Leningrad NPP was 5.416 billion rubles. (In 2011 — 7.256 billion rubles.).
 
As explained in the report, the growth of capital investments of the Leningrad nuclear power plant in the I quarter of 2013, nearly three times associated with the implementation of the investment program of JSC "Concern Rosenergoatom" for 2013 in several key areas: providing safe, reliable and trouble-free operation of existing units with the upgrades and modernization, implementation of energy efficiency programs and energy efficiency of the Leningrad nuclear power plant, continued work on the modernization and construction of a complex for processing and storage of solid and liquid radioactive waste and the construction of complex systems and dry storage of spent nuclear fuel of the Leningrad nuclear power plant. Also at the Leningrad NPP in July 2012 implemented a unique program to restore the resource characteristics of the graphite stack installed on the reactor unit number 1.

The growth of payments to the budget of the station in the I quarter of 2013 was 20.3%. Nuclear power is actually paid in the 1st quarter of fiscal 2013 and similar payments to the budget of the country in the amount of 816.3 million rubles, or 120.3% compared to the same figure for the 1st quarter of 2012 (678.8 million rubles). In the budgets of all levels of Leningrad NPP transferred 593.6 million rubles, or 114.2% from the same period in 2012 (519.7 million rubles). Including the regional budget Leningrad Leningrad nuclear power plant in the I quarter of 2013 transferred 553.4 million rubles (114.3% compared to I quarter. 2012), the local budget MO "Sosnovoborsky city district" — 40 million rubles (113 4% compared to I quarter. 2012). Payments of the Leningrad nuclear power plant in the I quarter of 2013 to the Pension Fund of Russia amounted to 174.6 million rubles (100% compared to I quarter. 2012).

The report also noted that in the I quarter of 2013, the average number of nuclear power plant staff was 4870, of which production staff (IFR) — 4799 people (in I quarter. 2012 — 4716 and 4653 respectively).
