During 2012 in the Lipetsk region the index of industrial production grew by almost 12%. He was 111.9% compared to the year 2011 (an average of Russia — 102.6%). Such measures announced head of the regional management of innovation and industrial policy — Vladimir Lavrentiev.
"The growth in comparison with the previous year, was observed in all areas of production: in metallurgy and production of finished metal products it was 17.5% in the chemical industry — 14.6%, in the manufacture of rubber and plastic products — 12.6%" — according to the Lipetsk site administration.
Production of finished steel and steel increased by 25%, iron — by 21%, household washing machines — by 14%, structures and concrete parts — by 16%.
Now Lipetsk region ranks first among the regions of the Central Black Soil on volume of shipped goods produced in the manufacture of machinery and equipment — in this 2012 volume totaled 25.6 billion rubles. In addition, the region holds the second place, and fourth in Russia — in terms of manufacturing industries per capita.
