Skier Petukhov won the sprint World Cup

Russian Alexey Petukhov the fastest time in the sprint at the IBU World Cup cross-country skiing in Davos, Switzerland. Alexei passed the distance in 2 minutes 41.7 seconds.


Second and third places went to the Swedes Teodor Peterson and Emil Jonsson, who "slept" jerk our athletes and gave him a 0.3 and 0.4 seconds, respectively.

Another member of our team Nikolay Morilov crossed the finish line with a sixth time behind the winner sprint by four seconds.

Earlier on Sunday, Natalia Matveeva she won the silver medal in the same competition with the ladies. In the final race Russian has lost almost two seconds an American Kikkan Randall with a time of 3 minutes 2.4 seconds.

It is worth noting that Matveyev was in second place only through photo finish, because the "silver" still actively contested stubborn Maiken Kaspersen pallu of Norway.

The next stage of the World Cup ski races will be held in the Slovenian Rogle December 17-18.
