The earthquake in the Marmara Region of Turkey

Earthquake in Turkey, a magnitude 4.7 on the Richter scale occurred in the province of Bilecik, in the Marmara Region. Tremors were also felt in the neighboring areas, including Istanbul and Sakarya. Research Institute of Earthquake announced that the epicenter of the earthquake was in Bozyuyyuk.

The quake caused panic in the area. Many people are in a hurry to flee their homes. Tremors were felt 04.07 points on Monday night. Tuesday morning and in the afternoon there were two earthquakes of magnitude 2.7 and 3.1 points. Some buildings suffered minor damage.
