U.S. shocked the most powerful earthquake in 40 years

August 23 in the United States near the border of Colorado and New Mexico experienced the most powerful earthquake in 40 years. Seismologists recorded earthquakes, the most powerful of which was a magnitude 5.3 on the Richter scale.

Initially seismologists reported strength shocks 5.5 on the Richter scale.

Land near the border of Colorado and New Mexico shaken 4 major earthquake and several aftershocks from 22 to 23 August. August 22 is the strongest quake seismologists estimated at 4.9 on the Richter scale. Underground vibrations damaged several homes and caused the displacement of the highway.
