4.7-magnitude earthquake occurred in northern Iran

Earthquake of magnitude 4.7 occurred on Friday in northern Iran, IRNA news agency reported citing seismologists Tehran University Geophysics.

Earthquakes have been recorded at 12.30 local time (1.30 MSK) near the village of Kila, located 86 kilometers east of Tehran.

Operational information from local authorities on the possible harm or death was not announced.
