5-magnitude quake was recorded in Turkey, no casualties

An earthquake measuring 5 on Monday registered in the province of Mus in southern Turkey, said Seismological Observatory of Bosphorus University on its website.

Provincial governor said on air news channel NTV, that the victims in the disaster not, at the same time in many homes of quake cracks.

A significant part of Turkish territory is located in earthquake-prone areas. Two of the most powerful earthquakes in Turkey occurred in 1999 and claimed more than 17,000 lives.
