In the Norwegian Sea has been a serious earthquake

Earthquake of magnitude 6.2 occurred in the Norwegian Sea. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the epicenter of the quake was located at 601 km north-west of the Norwegian city of Tromso and more than 1,000 kilometers from Murmansk. Underground shock was registered at a depth of 8.8 kilometers.

The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center estimated the magnitude of that earthquake at 6.5 and issued a warning about the possible origin of a local tsunami, according to ITAR-TASS. Manifestation of underground elements were registered at 02:47 Moscow time.
