Expert Commission of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) visited the Sochi power grid facilities in the region, designed to power the Olympic Winter Games in 2014.

In particular, the Centre has to-date information on the work carried out in electrical, composition and location of the repair crews, the equipment is placed in the emergency reserve, as well as the availability and location of the stand-alone power supplies, equipment and vehicles used to carry out emergency and recovery operations. Thus, TSUE can prepare for possible problem situations at the facilities of consumers, and the main distribution grid complex, and most importantly to reduce the time of liquidation and minimize the impact of process failures.
Following the visit of Energy Sochi received positive evaluation committee of experts on the work of the IOC to ensure reliable power supply of sports infrastructure at the time of the XXII Olympic Games in Sochi in 2014.
