OJSC "Moscow shipbuilding and ship-repair plant" (JSC "Moscow Shipyard") on 7 September launched the fifth multi-purpose boat project MRV14 (serial number 405) "Aquamarine", being built by order of "Rosmorport" for the port of Astrakhan, Astrakhan branch of FSUE " RosMorPort. "
The boat will be used for the delivery of pilots, crews and commissions on ships, Survey of navigable waterways, participate in rescue operations and other tasks.
Multi-purpose boat is equipped with the latest propulsion unit Volvo Penta IPS 450. With the help of dynamic positioning systems can save the preset position boats for rescue operations in adverse weather conditions (wind, waves, currents). In comparison with similar products in its class, running the IPS system adds 20% to the maximum speed, 15% faster acceleration and it allows you to save up to 30% fuel. A similar project is being implemented in Russia for the first time.
"Moscow shipbuilding and ship-repair factory" was founded in 1936. In September 2011, the plant began construction of high-speed multi-purpose boats MRV14 to Russian ports. At the same time in 2011 is building a series of 27 boats situational project 3050 and 12 boats situational project 3050.1 maintenance of inland waterways. Since mid-2012, the plant began construction on-board boats for the needs of the Navy.
