Mosgorstat: a permanent population of Moscow in the new boundaries is 11.9 million

The number of births in January-August 2012. compared with the same period last year increased by 7.6% to 89.2 million people, the number of deaths increased by 2.2% and amounted to 77.6 thousand people. In January-August 2012. marriages registered 60 680 thousand, or 1.8% less than the same period last year, divorce rates were 27 582 thousand (down 6.6%).
