Multi-purpose electromagnetic scanner "Nemfis" was developed in the laboratory of the electromagnetic fields of the Institute of Geophysics of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS).
Development was presented by JSC "Ecology" at the 9th International Exhibition GeoForm +, held in Moscow in March 2010.
The instrument can be used for a wide range of geophysical problems on the depth of the first ten meters.
Comparisons with the most popular Western instruments showed that the method of electromagnetic scanning "Nemfis" order of magnitude faster than the method of resistance (electromagnetics) is much more informative than the electromagnetic mapping at a single frequency, and much more resistant to interference than existing multi-frequency electromagnetic devices. Search complex consists of the probe enclosed in a solid fiberglass hull, a laptop computer with special software ISystem.
