Gold and foreign currency reserves of Belarus in April 2011and increased. This was stated in a press release, which is now distributed management of the National Bank of Belarus.
The document notes that according to preliminary data from the international reserve assets of Belarus in determining the IMF increased by 32.1 million U.S. and May 1, they amounted to 3,793.5 million equivalent. In national terms assets increased by 86.3 million and reached 5340 million equivalent.
The official explanation for increased provisions as follows: "it is mainly due to the increase of prices for precious metals and the dynamics of exchange rates in the international markets."
