Twelve-year-Hafiz Muhammad Zabihulla Indian city of Ahmednagar in Maharashtra broke the world record by reading the Koran by heart in 12 hours.
The boy was reading the text from eight in the morning until eight in the evening, local time. He never hesitated and looked in the book, according to Live Hindustan. Hafiz Muhammad taught Zabihulla text of the holy book for 8 months.
School officials said it awarded the boy for such an achievement, as it is unknown. In the Guinness Book of Records sent an application to officially register the record.
