Two earthquakes of magnitude 4.3 and 3.2 occurred in southern Italy

Two earthquakes of magnitude 4.3 and 3.2 occurred on Monday night in the provinces of Cosenza and Potenza in southern Italy, the agency TMNews.

According to the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology in Italy, the first tremor was registered at 03.06 (06.05 MSK) and was felt in Castrovillari, Morano Calabro and San Basile province of Cosenza (Calabria region).

The second earthquake occurred half an hour in 03.32 (05.32 MSK) in neighboring Calabria region of Basilicata. Its epicenter was at a depth of eight kilometers around the province of Potenza.

According to civil protection in Italy, about casualties or damage were reported.
