Upgraded BTR-MDM are ready to submit to the RAE-2013

At the International Exhibition of Arms, Military Equipment and Ammunition RAE-2013 will be first presented to the upgraded multi-purpose amphibious armored personnel carrier. Experts have unified with armored infantry fighting vehicle BMP-3M and combat vehicle BMD-4M. BTR-MDM is designed for the transportation of personnel (troops), ammunition, spare parts, fuel and lubricants in airborne units, air assault formations of the Navy Marine Corps. It is adapted for use in all conditions of combat use in a variety of climatic conditions.

Commander of the Russian Airborne Forces, Colonel-General Vladimir Shamanov, who visited in February this year, Kurgan, said that in 2014 the company will produce 30 BTR-MDM for the Russian army.
