"Milk Alliance" has invested about $ 2.5 million in the installation of a new cheese factory at Bashtansky unique wastewater treatment capacity of 1,300 cubic meters per day, which allows us to complete the process of cheese making, receiving process water without odor and contaminants.
In the production of cheese whey, which is released during the process of cheese making, not only has a sharp unpleasant smell, but also negatively impacts on the environment. Currently Bashtansky cheese factory came on the daily volume of processed milk, equal to 350 tons. And the old sewage treatment plant, which had long been on the balance of the city, were stolen, causing untreated sewage Bashtansky Cheese Factory merged into the reeds.
The uniqueness of the new treatment plant Bashtansky cheese plant is that it uses a two-stage biological wastewater treatment process, which includes serum, provides a process water without odor and contaminants, biogas and skate. Technological solutions used in water treatment plants Bashtansky cheese plant, patented as the know-how and the developers are kept secret, the developer is "Ukrainian Technological Company".
Collected as a result of cleaning biogas is used at the plant as a fuel to heat the reactor water treatment facilities. In the near future, in the reconstruction process cheese plant will be built boiler room, where the use of biogas will expand the heated area. The cake — it's a solid, appearing as a result of wastewater after treatment will be implemented in the form of organic agricultural fertilizers.
In Ukraine, there is an overproduction of cheese: the production of about 200 tons in the domestic market consumed only 123-130 thousand tons. 36% of the total cheese production is exported. The largest volumes are exported to Russia, the second largest (13%) buyer — Kazakhstan.
It is also worth noting that despite the crisis in the economy, reducing the personnel of "Milk Alliance" did not happen. But wages rose on average by 10.5% holding. "It is true that an increase in staff are planned. This is due primarily to the further modernization and automation of production in all enterprises of the holding, "said Sergei Vovchenko, General Director of" Milk Alliance "
