This was announced today, First Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Vladimir Semashko at the joint session of both chambers of the National Assembly.
On Semashko, store, which is on the territory of Belarus, can store 980 million cubic meters of gas. "It's a little bit", — said Mr. Semashko.
He gave the example that in the EU there is a directive on energabyaspetsy, according to which the country should have a repository with a margin of 3-4 months. This means that Belarus should have a repository of not less than 4.5 billion cubic meters of gas. He said the country will begin construction of a fourth gas storage.
