Earthquakes have been recorded at 6.40 MSK. The epicenter was located 95 kilometers to the west of Talca (Talka), located in the region of Maule. The earthquake lies at a depth of 25.4 kilometers.

The data on the destruction or injuries were reported. No threat of a tsunami.

First tremors — magnitude 5.8 and 6.0 — were recorded in 11.51 and 13.35 MSK 35 and 25 kilometers to the northwest of the city of Concepcion at a depth. The depth of the first earthquake recorded at around 25.4 kilometers, the second — 13 kilometers. The third day of a push — a magnitude 5.6 — was recorded at 16.44 MSK, 40 kilometers south-west of the city of Concepcion at a depth of 18 kilometers.

In February 2010, an earthquake of magnitude 8.8 near the city of Concepcion killed more than 300 people. The earthquake was the fifth in the world by force of tremors since 1900.
