MS-21 to India

JSC "Corporation" Irkut "has signed an agreement of intent with the Indian company AirExcellance to supply 21 MS-21, the report said corporation for the I quarter.The press service of the Russian company told "Interfax" that the agreement signed in 2012, but it has not been announced as AirExcellance is at the stage of "start-up".  The report also notes that customers MS-21 are eight companies that have ordered 256 aircraft. In particular, customers are Malaysian company CRECOM — 50 units, a subsidiary of the corporation "Rostekhnadzor" — "Aviakapital service" — 85, "Ilyushin FinansKo" — 50 "North Wind" — 5 "VEB-Leasing" — 30, "IrAero" — 10, AirExcellance — 21. Another five aircraft ordered by the Customer from the CIS, whose name was not disclosed.

MC-21 program involves the creation of a family of short-haul and medium-haul passenger aircraft. It will include three models: MC-200-21, MC-21 and MC-300-21 with a capacity of 400, respectively 150, 181 and 212 for single-class passengers cabin layout.

The first flight is scheduled for 2015, and the first deliveries of aircraft operators to begin in 2017.
