National debt of Belarus increased by 9.6% in five months

National debt of Belarus on June 1 totaled 33 trillion 385 billion rubles, or the equivalent of the national currency by 9.6% more compared to January 1, 2010.

Belarus' foreign debt as of June 1 2010 amounted to 8,330.3 million, Interfax reports. It increased in January-May by 5.6%.

As part of the external debt of the Government's direct debt as of June 1 are created in the amount of 8,191.6 million (an increase of 5.3% over 5 months of May decrease of 1.3%), debt entities guaranteed by the government — 138.7 million
(Growth of 23.2% in the reporting period).

The volume of domestic debt as of June 1 2010 amounted to 8 trillion 394.2 billion rubles.
