Transportation of Venezuelan oil will cost $ 3 per ton

Belarusian Railways has set a fixed fee tariff for oil transportation from the port of Odessa to the Mozyr refinery in the amount of $ 3.02 per ton.

This rate will be effective from July 1 until the end of the year, Interfax reported to the Ministry of Transport and Communications of Belarus.

The Belarusian Railway specified that the tariff rate applies only to the territory of Belarus, as well as from Odessa to the Belarusian-Ukrainian border acts Ukrainian fare. Belarussian freight rate is much lower Ukrainian, explained in BC.

The agreement on the supply of Venezuelan oil to Belarus was signed in March of this year. By agreement Alexander Lukashenko and Hugo Chavez, its total supply should reach 12 months of about 4 million tons. The first batch of oil from Venezuela (80,000 tons) was transported to the sea port of Odessa in late April. From there the oil is transported in rail cars on Oil Refinery.
