At the Lotus laid the two freighter project RSD49

January 27, 2011 Astrakhan Shipyard "Lotus" has laid two multipurpose dry cargo twin-screw ship project RSD49.

Customer — "Western Shipping Company." The vessels will be built under a leasing scheme. Lessor — JSC "Gosznak-Leasing", the lessee — JSC "Western Shipping Company." RSD49 project designed by the Marine Engineering Bureau.

 

Vessels of RSD49, in accordance with the classification of the Bureau refers to the class of "Volga-Don Max" have the maximum possible size for VDSK. The project is designed for a class KM Ice2 R2 AUT1-C of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping and meets all the requirements of the international conventions in force at the laying of the ship.
