At the Moscow Shipyard began construction of a new series of pleasure boats

OJSC "Moscow shipbuilding and ship-repair factory" (MSSZ) build in the spring of the following year for "Passenger Port" (a trademark of Capital Shipping Company, ARC) new pleasure boat, the agency "Transport today" with the ceremony of laying the lead ship.

According to the General Director Dmitry Balykova SSK, the company placed an order for two brand new passenger ship, but in the future he plans to order at the factory at least 10 such vessels.

CEO of CCK did not specify the sources of financing the purchase of ships, as well as the cost of one such ship.
He said that the capacity of each ship, which is the working title of "Pilgrim" is 120 passengers, and the length of the ship — 30 meters. "The first ship we have to get to the 15th of April next year, in time for the passenger navigation in Moscow", — said Balykov, adding that the ships will operate initially on the central promenade line from the Kiev railway station to Novospasskogo bridge.

Director general added that the ship is a single-deck with a panoramic glass sliding roof, in every seat of which will be mounted audio system that will allow for excursions.

In turn, as the general director of the Moscow Shipyard Roman Major, plant for the first time in the last 20 years, was commissioned to produce a completely new passenger ship.

MSSZ started November 23, 1936. This is one of the oldest Russian shipyards specialized in manufacturing vaporetto. It is here that produced the famous ships "Moskvich" and "Moscow". Since 2001, the plant became the yacht shipyard. Since 2005, became a member of the consortium Timmerman Yachts and manufactures luxury yacht class.
