The refinancing rate of the National Bank from June 22 to increase by 2 percentage points to 18 per cent per annum.
This is stated in a special resolution of the Board, the official website of the National Bank.
"This decision was made in the framework of a consistent policy aimed at increasing the dahodnastsi on deposits Belarusian rubles and strengthening the protection of ruble savings in banks from inflation. In this case, a gradual increase in the refinancing rate takes into account the interests of credit borrowers, giving them time to adapt to new economic conditions, "according to the National Bank.
The last time the National Bank raised the refinancing rate from 14 percent to 16 percent per annum from June 1.
