The U.S. Navy wants to enter into contracts for the establishment decked UAVs (UCLASS) with 4 South American companies: Boeing, General Atomics, Lockheed Martin and Northrop Grumman. As reported by Flightglobal, the contracts will be signed within the framework of the tender for the creation and delivery of deck drone. Tender for the creation of the deck UAV was announced in April 2011. Then it was reported that the development of the drone is to be completed in 2018.
