Angina — Is a form of ischemic heart disease. The immediate cause of the disease is atherosclerosis of the arteries of the heart, in which the lumen of the heart vessels narrowed by atherosclerotic plaque (cholesterol deposits in the artery wall), and the heart is not getting enough blood, that is in a state of oxygen deficiency, which is accompanied by bouts of pain in the heart.

Symptoms
Stenokadiya manifested seizures that occur normally during exercise. Less often they appear in connection with the excitement can also be caused by leaving the warm room into the cold air, smoking, alcohol consumption, hearty food. In between bouts of person usually nothing worries.
Attack stenokadii appears oppressive pain, which, as it burns and compresses heart. It happens that it is perceived as a burden, pressure, tightness or pressure. Most often, patients describe the pain of angina as a "brick on the chest." Man seeks as quickly as possible to stop the load, stop, sit down, breathe fresh air.
Characteristic of the location of the pain — in the chest, but often it is felt and left. The attacks may be accompanied by shortness of breath, dizziness and feeling of fear, at least — nausea or vomiting.
After the cessation of stress attack resolves on its own within 2 — 5 minutes. Characterized by a rapid effect of nitroglycerin pill under the tongue. If the seizure lasts more than 10 minutes and the pain does not subside, it is best to call an ambulance — may cause serious damage to the heart.
Angina may occur in different forms
Experts identify several forms of angina: stable, unstable, and stenokadiya rest and exertional angina and more rare — variant. Separate disclosure is made new-onset angina, which is almost always requires hospitalization.
The most common form — angina. Seizures occur while under load: usually during walking, running, working, but also can cause pain and emotional sress, cold, heat, overeating, etc.
Angina at rest is called the late stages of the disease when physical activity is limited so that the pain can also occur without it, that is at rest. Variant angina is caused by several other factors: instead of atherosclerotic plaques in her background plays a major role spasm of the arteries of the heart. This form occurs in younger people.
Stable angina is once again on the same display. If the pain from attack to attack begins to accrue, or acquires new qualities (begins to give a hand, jaw, etc.) is considered a progressive angina or unstable. Often, these two forms can be harbingers of impending heart attack.
Complications

Since angina — One of the possible manifestations of coronary artery disease, all of the complications of these diseases are common. The most frequently over time in patients with chronic heart failure, manifested by swelling of the legs and shortness of breath.
High pressure is not a complication, and an aggravating factor of angina, the higher the pressure, the harder to push blood through the heart vessels and the faster it wears out.
Myocardial infarction is a frequent companion of coronary heart disease and angina including, but can also occur in people without a previous heart pains (for "empty" spot).
