Merkel and Medvedev will discuss Belarus

Today kicks off a two-day Yekaterinburg in the Russian-German intergovernmental meeting. Russian President Dmitry Medvedev and German Chancellor Angela Merkel has, among other things, to discuss Belarus and Ukraine, in particular to ensure the continuous supply of gas through these countries into the European Union.

Also on the agenda for discussion of cooperation in European security, the development of bilateral cooperation between Russia and NATO and the European Union, international trade issues.
