Drilling of the unique in the extent of gas pipeline across the river Kuban

On the linear part of the South-European gas pipeline in the area "Pysarivka-Anapa, km 570 — km 768.5 'unique construction began on the length — 1507 m — underwater crossing of the river Kuban.

Another reason for this is the chosen technology of construction — Scythian burial IV century BC, located on the shore. The depth of the tunnel in the coastal zone — up to 20 meters — will leave the historic building intact.
In the construction of the transition is applied Tunnel complex mechanized company Herrenknecht. It is planned that day it will be held from 8 to 25 m as it moves out of the tunnel is constructed of reinforced concrete pipes (outer diameter — 2500 mm, inner — 2000 mm), and then will be implemented dragging pipeline diameter of 1420 mm. Later on the linear part of the South-European gas pipeline will be built tunnels under the 8 channels, as well as a number of tunnels — under the roads.

As part of the 1st stage also envisages the construction of bridges from the COP to the COP Korenovskaya Kuban.

In addition, it is envisaged the reconstruction of the existing corridor Petrovsk — Pysarivka.

Construction is expected to complete by 2015 to synchronize with plans to launch the first stage of the South Stream gas pipeline. Phase 2 of the project (eastern section) includes the construction of the gas transmission system COP Fixes (Nizhny Novgorod Region) — KS Russian, stretching 1,612 km in the existing corridor Fixes — Izobilnoye — North Stavropol UGS.
