U.S. National Aerospace Agency (NASA) has published a unique pictures Great Nebula in Orion (M42), obtained by prolonged exposure and subsequent digital image processing. Great Nebula in Orion on a clear night you can see with the naked eye: the formation of diffuse hot gas and dust spread out over 40 light-years. The nebula itself is located at a distance of 1,500 light-years from Earth and is illuminated by the so-called the Trapezium, a group of four bright stars. The reddish color of the nebula in the photo due to the strong glow at a wavelength of hydrogen, constituting the bulk of the large gas nebula.
