California squid washed up on shore

Two hundred dead squid found themselves on the beach in San Clemente, California.
Humboldt squid, also known as giant, appeared in great numbers in the Orange County and San Diego in recent days. Dead specimens length of 30 cm and more attracted vacationers during the cleaning the beach of the dead carcasses.

"They were quite large, almost two feet long and very thick," says Carl Christ of Dana Point. "I've never seen anything like it."
