Lukashenko demands more control over fire safety

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko demanded that the government tighten control over fire safety in the country and asked the prime minister Sergei Sidorsky to discuss with Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin the opportunity to help Russia in fighting fires, the press service of the President of Belarus.

Head of state demanded from the government, governors, MOE, Ministry of Internal Affairs and other government agencies to tighten control over fire safety in the country, to mobilize all of the available resources to make comprehensive measures to prevent fires and other natural emergencies caused by an abnormal temperature.

According to the press service, A.Lukashenko instructed Prime Minister S.Sidorsky discuss with B.Putin "All possible assistance that Belarus is able and willing to assist Russian forest fires on its territory, as well as the restoration of the lost property."
