Russia is waiting for external assistance in extinguishing fires

Russian President Dmitry Medvedev ordered to accept the help of foreign countries to extinguish fires, which affect the central part of the country.

At a meeting with Russian Minister of Emergency Situations Sergei Shoigu Dmitry Medvedev reported that he had called colleagues from abroad and offered their help.

For its part, Shoigu said that Ukraine has offered to send two firefighting aircraft AN-32, and Azerbaijan — two helicopters, previously acquired in Russia.
