Byassmertny did not rule out the possibility of transporting Venezuelan oil through the pipe

Ambassador of Ukraine to Belarus Roman Byassmertny did not rule out the possibility in the future of transportation of Venezuelan oil to Belarus through pipelines.

"If the volumes are not only allowed to transport by rail, and the combined method — (rail and tube), then it will go to Ukraine", — said the ambassador during a press conference in Minsk, Interfax reports.

In this case, Ukraine will come out of the economic feasibility and efficiency. Speaking of vygadnasts transportation project of Venezuelan oil to Belarus, Ukrainian diplomat said,

"If it was not profitable, then this would have never been done before. This applies to the transfer of oil in port and rail transportation," — said the Ambassador of Ukraine.

The ambassador also said that he saw no reason for the imposition of duties on imported petroleum products, including from Belarus.
