JSC E.ON Russia in the I half-year increased electricity production by 7%

 

Electricity production of "E.ON Russia" in the first half of 2012 amounted to 32.168 billion kWh, an increase of 7% over the same period last year.
 Including Yayvinskaya power plant increased production by 60%, Surgut GRES-2 — by 8%.
 Sales of electricity on the wholesale market of "E.ON Russia" in January-June 2012 amounted to 33.325 billion kWh, which is also 7% more than in the same period in 2011.
 Dynamics of production performance is due to the work of new, high-capacity, commissioned in 2010-2011. Thus, in the third quarter of 2011 were introduced 1,200 MW of new capacity at the Surgut GRES-2 power plant Yaivinskaya and, in addition, to January 1, 2012 Bereza power plant capacity increased by 50 MW as a result of the project on modernization of the second power plant.
 Sales of heat E.ON Russia in the first half of 2012 amounted to 1,022 thousand Gcal, which is 3% less than in I half-year 2011.
