JSC Rosoboronexport has signed a contract to supply to Iraq of six more Mi-35 helicopters

JSC "Rosoboronexport" (part of "Rostekhnadzor") has entered into a contract for the supply to Iraq of six more Mi-35 helicopters. The contract was signed during a visit to Iraq, General Director of "Rostekhnadzor" Chemezov together with the president of "Rosneft" Igor Sechin, April 16, 2013. The contract is valued at 256 million dollars. in addition to defense contracts for $ 4.2 billion, Reuters reported, citing a source close to the Russian exporter of military equipment. Supply of six cars for $ 217 million ($ 256 million with ammunition) is scheduled for October 2013. Currently in the field of military-technical cooperation with Iraq and Russia already have contracts totaling $ 4.2 billion, mainly on the supply of Russian helicopters.
