The Russian Defense Ministry has ordered 100 helicopters Ka-60 Orca designed to transport troops or huge cargo.
Development of Ka-60 began in the 1980s. Later, when the stretch from the factory on the Kamov Proving Ground in ZHulebino experienced mock flight crashed car. Now the plant has doubled efforts to modernize the Orcas.

The Ka-60 can reach speeds of up to three hundred miles per hour, fly at a distance of 770 km, can carry up to 14 paratroopers or cargo weighing up to 2.8 tonnes, and is intended to change the Mi-8 helicopter in most tasks.
